Rob is the owner of CrossFit Delaware Valley.  He is a Level Two CrossFit trainer and a member of CrossFit HQ's traveling Certification Staff.

'I'm a 36-year old father of two, and my family lives in the house that I grew up in.  I hold a degree in Business Logistics from Penn State University, although I make my living as a Personnel Manager for a consumer food company.  I love music, and play bass guitar and sing in a bar band.  In a previous life, I was a martial arts fanatic and hold a first-degree Black Belt in Isshinryu Karate.'

I have been pursuing a well rounded fitness since the first time I picked up my dad's copy of the Navy Seal Workout in the 7th grade. I always wanted to be both fast and strong. I inefficiently worked towards this goal with a bodybuilding-style weight training, running split for years. Stagnating, I looked for a way to broaden my capabilities. I found what I was looking for in Crossfit. I spent almost a year teaching myself the movements off the website and trying to do the WODs as prescribed. During this time, I started to coach and found I had a propensity for it. Since graduating from Penn State in December 2007, I have acquired my Crossfit Level 1 (March 2008) and Level 2 (June 2009) Certifications. I look forward to continuing to educate and be educated.

'I have been training with Crossfit since August 2007 and have been a trainer at Crossfit Delaware Valley since December of 2007.  I currently hold the Crossfit Level One Certification and the Crossfit Basic Barbell Certification, hoping to get my Level two within the next year.  My favorite part of being a trainer is seeing the rapid, dramatic improvements in all of my athletes.  I feel that Crossfit is the best way to improve overall fitness for anyone willing to put in the work.  It has helped me immeasurably and will continue to for the rest of my life.  If you want to get stronger, faster, and better in your chosen sport, or just for general fitness, come down to CFDV and get hooked!'

I’m a 20 year-old student at Delaware County Community College and a total CrossFit junkie.  I grew up in Secane, Pa and graduated from Ridley High school in ’07.  As well as being a huge fan of CrossFit and fitness in general, I’m also obsessed with music and I’ve played the drums ever since I was in middle school.

I’ve been Crossfitting for a little over a year now and I’ve been hooked ever since my first workout with CFDV. I discovered CrossFit at a time when I believed 'split routines', 'Muscle and Fitness' and body building were the 3 keys to a successful fitness routine. When I finally found CFDV it opened my eyes to a totally different approach on fitness… SOMETHING THAT ACTUALLY WORKS!  CFDV is more than just another gym down the street.  We’re a community and a family that all share an interest in reaching their athletic goals and helping others enhance their lives.  Crossfit is the #1 fitness program in my book and I recommend it to anyone, and everyone willing to give it go!!!
